Fr. Jesuraja Alangaram, a Missionary of St.Francis De Sales, dearly known as Fr.Raja was born on the 20th of May in India to the devoted parents. He entered the Seminary in 1992 and was ordained Priest on the 26th of November 2006. He has a strong leadership and pastoral skills with creativity and adaptability. As a priest, he had worked in different capacities such as in the formation of the novices as Socius, in the field of social works and rehabilitation of the persons with multiple disabilities as Director and Principle of Special School, in education institutes as Manager, and as animator and superior of religious communities.
He has been a committed religious priest with deep faith and religious convictions leading the flock in faith and trust entrusted to him. Wherever he went to or worked, he radiated the spirit of Jesus Christ through his life and ministry. He served as Chaplain to the women religious providing them pastoral care. He attracted the young and old through humorous way of life and taught the values of life in a very spirit filled way. He was involved in children ministry, youth ministry and ministry to the sick and senior persons, hospital ministry and prison ministry, and organized Youth camp, vocation promotion camp and Live-Way of the Cross event and preached recollections. His sports are basketball, volleyball, cricket, ping-pong, carrom, chess.. Reading books and stamp-collections are few of his faourite hobbies. The languages he speaks are English, Tamil, Hindi, Deutsch gelernt and poco Español.
He arrived in USA in October 2018 and was assigned at Hondo-D’Hanis-Yancey parishes. Presently he is with us at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish as Parochial Vicar.

Deeply believing that this is the Holy Spirit who gives me the real power to do the Christ’s works, to administer the sacraments, to proclaim the Word of God, to serve God’s People and to pray for you and with you.
