What else is on the Ballot?
There are some important Propositions on the ballot for all San Antonio residents to consider. The Propositions are located at the very end of the ballot. Please scroll down the ballot to find them.
CITY OF SAN ANTONIO
Proposition A: Pre-K 4 SA – Renewed adoption of a Sales and Use Tax, at the rate of one-eighth of one percent, for the purpose of continued financing of authorized programs of the SA Early Childhood Education Municipal Development Corporation, for a maximum period of 8 years.
Proposition B: READY TO WORK SA – For the purpose of providing job training and scholarships to our community; a reallocation of one-eighth of one percent of existing Sales and Use Tax, resulting in ‘no net tax increase,’ not to extend beyond December 31, 2025.
SAN ANTONIO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
PROPOSITION A and B – SAISD has two propositions on the ballot totaling $1.3 billion going towards school building renovations, acquisitions, and technology for our students. No tax increase.
ADVANCED TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT
Proposition A: VIA – The Advanced Transportation District (“District”) will utilize a one eighth of one percent Sales and Use Tax to advance public transportation services, operations, passenger amenities, equipment and other innovative, public transportation purposes, mobility and enhancement purposes.
