Dear Parishioners of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Thank you once more for your hospitality this summer. It was certainly unconventional, but this community proved once again how dedicated you are to loving Jesus Christ.
I have one more year of seminary left before being ordained a priest, God willing. Its prayers like yours that help me persevere in seminary. Thank you for praying for us seminarians!
I know I can count on you all to pray for more holy vocations to the priesthood and consecrated religious life. I believe that God is calling some more young men and women in this parish to discern religious life!
My prayer for all of you is that you search in your heart how God is inviting you to participate in the life of holiness. Whether it be marriage, the single life, or religious life, each of you plays an essential part in the Kingdom of God.
To Fr. Juan, Fr. Scott, Fr. Ricardo, Fr. Raja, Seminarian Robert Shelton, the pastoral staff, and the community, I cannot thank you enough. Know that I will be praying for you all as well. God bless you.
Peace,
Ed Gonzales
