4. Is There a Goal for this Year?
Our goal for this year is to achieve 25% parish participation. What this means is that we would like to see at least 25% of our parishioners participate in this appeal, regardless of how much each of those parishioners give. If doesn’t matter how much you give, but if you give it counts towards our goal!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why are we promoting Text-To-Give?
Text-To Give simplifies the giving process for both users and data entry. Donor information is updated, reduces errors in manually entering gifts due to difficulty in reading and interpreting handwriting. Also, during a Covid environment, giving digitally reduces the risk of transmission of the virus.
Does this mean we can no longer give via mail or by phone?
No, you may still give by mail, phone, online, and texting. We strongly encourage giving online and text-to-give, however we are grateful for your generosity and will accept your gifts in any of the available methods.
What is 100% participation?
We invite all of the faithful throughout the Archdiocese of San Antonio to participate in the Archbishop’s Appeal for Ministries, Resilient in Faith & Service. The Appeal is a pillar among our faith community, and we want to share the importance of the Appeal and the 30 funded ministries whose mission is to spread God’s merciful love. You can participate by making a monetary gift, sending a prayer request, or praying for the Appeal.
What does 25% parish participation mean?
The ideal goal is for 100% participation from our parish communities. However, the minimum target goal for each parish is 25% parishioner participation to reach the overall 2023 Appeal goal. We understand these are difficult times and we sincerely thank you for supporting the Appeal in any way you can. As a faithful community we can surpass this year’s goal and serve countless lives.
Is there no financial goal this year?
No, the goal for 2023 is engagement and participation. We want people to learn about the Appeal and participate in the work of our shared ministries.
Are the materials available in Spanish?
Absolutely! Materials are available in both English and Spanish.
How can the elderly participate if they have difficult with technology?
We are happy to help and process gifts over the phone. Gifts can also be made by completing an in-pew envelope. Also, family members, neighbors, and friends can invite and assist in making gifts digitally.

Rebates for the 2022 Appeal year will be deposited into parish accounts at the end of the month.
