Burning of the Palms 2023

As we prepare to enter the season of Lent on Ash Wednesday, Our Lady of Guadalupe – Helotes will be accepting your old palm leaves so that we may properly dispose of them for you. As the palms are blessed items, you cannot simply throw them away. The ashes of the palms will be used for ash distribution on Ash Wednesday.
Fr. Scott will personally be overseeing the burning of the palms, which will take place on Wednesday, February 8 at 6:15 PM in the parish pavilion. Please join us for this beautiful occasion.
