Have a sewing room that needs purging?  Maybe just a box of fabric and notions laying around gathering dust.  Don’t know where to begin?  Stitching 4 Outreach can assist.  We survive through donations of fabric, quilt tops, threads, Poly-fil (pillow stuffing), quilt batting, and of course, cash or gift cards are greatly appreciated, all help to continue these efforts.  Some of the items created include laundry and toiletry bags, Christmas stockings and Easter bags, lap quilts, receiving blankets and much more.

All items are delivered through OLG’s Outreach program to various shelters and agencies throughout the San Antonio area.  A few examples include homeless shelters, victims of domestic violence, teenage mothers, seniors including retired religious, mentally & physically ill children and adults, military families, immigrants, and families of the incarcerated.  The items vary but the purpose is the same – to help others in need.
