Thank you to all of our currently dedicated Extraordinary Ministers and their supportive families.
Extraordinary Ministers assist at Mass with the distribution of Holy Communion. They also assist in bringing the Blessed Sacrament to the Homebound. At Our Lady of Guadalupe, they are run as separate ministries. Click the button below to visit our Sick & Homepound page!

In addition to a one-on-one initial formation training, all Ministers are required to participate in bi-annual trainings conducted by the EMHC Coordinator & Liturgical Staff. Prior to being placed on the schedule to serve, Extraordinary Ministers must also complete all three modules listed in Virtusonline.com for Safe Environment to be in active ministry. They must also participate in a One on One meeting with Roxie Vargas (EMHC Coordinator) covering the mechanics of what to do in Mass. Once completed they will be placed on the schedule for the following quarter.
