Fr. Scott is putting out a new contest to all the parish: we want YOU to design a new face mask for Our Lady of Guadalupe – Helotes!

The contest begins Monday, Feb. 1 and ends Saturday, March 20. All designs must be submitted to our media communications specialist, Aaron, at ahannie@olghelotes.org. The winner will be announced on Easter Sunday, April 4. The winner will have not only the glory of designing our new mask, but will also receive a grand prize which will be determined by Fr. Scott.

Rules:

1. Create a design unique to our parish. The easiest thing to do is just choose an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and call it a day. However, the image is not unique to our parish. We want to create a design that people can recognize as OLG – Helotes.

2. The image MUST be religious. Event though “helotes” means corn, don’t just put an ear of corn as your design. It must be Catholic (whether directly or indirectly) and related to our parish. Consider a rose of Our Lady of Guadalupe, an outline of our church, one of our stain glass windows, etc.

3. Design must be submitted to Aaron by Saturday, March 20.
