Extraordinary Ministers assist at Mass with the distribution of Holy Communion. They also assist in bringing the Blessed Sacrament to the Homebound. At Our Lady of Guadalupe, they are run as separate Ministries. Click here to visit our Sick and Homebound page.

Schedules are distributed and emailed to ministers on a three-month basis.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion Training
In addition to a one-on-one initial formation training, all Ministers are required to participate in bi-annual trainings. Extraordinary Ministers must also complete all three modules listed in Virtusonline.com for Safe Environment to be in active ministry. Once completed they will be placed on the schedule. Extraordinary Minister Commissioning dates will follow.
