This Feast Day is a celebration of the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. On this day we recall the institution of the Eucharist at the Last Supper. Pope Urban IV issued a papal bull establishing the feast in 1254 to be followed on a Thursday/Sunday following Trinity Sunday. The feast was prompted by St. Juliana of Liege, a 13th Century canoness from Belgium.
Beginning Saturday, June 18 at 8:00 PM, we will have Nocturnal Adoration until Sunday, June 19 at 6:30 AM. All are invited to join us for this beautiful time of worship of our Lord.
Join us in procession for this Solemnity led by our Pastor, Fr. Scott Janysek, after the 7:30 AM Mass on Sunday, June 19, 2022. The procession will leave the church at 8:30 AM following Riggs Rd. to the rotary and back. All our parishioners are invited to join us. Please walk on or as close to the sidewalk as possible. We will walk up on one side of the street and return on the other.
