Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
It has been a blessing to minister with you here in the parish! I will certainly miss many of you and you are most welcome to stop at MACC and visit. The Deacon Formation program as well as the Institute for Lay Ecclesial Ministry and Service are housed there, among others. So, I am sure I may see some of you there. Please know you all are in my prayers and I ask you to keep me in your prayers as I transition to this new and exciting (and challenging!) ministry.
I also ask you to welcome and pray for Fr. Scott Janysek, your new pastor. He will be here on July 1st and is excited to arrive. He has been coming around to familiarize himself with the parish and is updated on the most important issues he needs to face as he starts. Please make him feel at home and offer him your support so Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish can continue to offer hope and be a great place of peace and worship of God the Most Holy Trinity in communion with our Holy Father and our Archbishop.
We have now concluded the First Communions for the children and will be concluding the Confirmations this Monday. Please continue to pray for all the children who received the Holy Eucharist for the first time as well as the Confirmandi and those who have already been confirmed.
Fr. Juan
